Redisplaying will be necessary when custom order in the app grid is implemented, in order to update not only which icons are hidden, but also their position. Call _redisplay() in AllView when folders change. https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/merge_requests/645 --- diff --git a/js/ui/appDisplay.js b/js/ui/appDisplay.js index d222e9610..b26951e3c 100644 --- a/js/ui/appDisplay.js +++ b/js/ui/appDisplay.js @@ -386,7 +386,7 @@ var AllView = class AllView extends BaseAppView { if (!icon) { icon = new FolderIcon(id, path, this); icon.connect('name-changed', this._itemNameChanged.bind(this)); - icon.connect('apps-changed', this._refilterApps.bind(this)); + icon.connect('apps-changed', this._redisplay.bind(this)); } newApps.push(icon); this.folderIcons.push(icon);
